When Supporters onboard on our Match & Track networks (ie the networks where we don't just match Supporters and Mentees, we then help them to work together to achieve Mentee goals), we give Supporters the option to add a link to their Calendly account. Calendly helps individuals to schedule meetings without back & forth emails, and is a free service for individuals, and helps our users to save time when trying to arrange to meet or speak on the phone.
If a Supporter provides a Calendly, and is assigned to a Mentee (ie they will meet regularly with a Mentee for a period of time, so are effectively a Principal Mentor or Coach) all this means is that the Mentee will have fast access to their Supporter's calendar to book their next mentoring or advisory session.
We give this access to a Mentee when they have finished reporting against their Goals and Tasks.
The Mentee will see a summary page at the end of their reporting session that lists their Supporter Team, and which of those Supporters have shared a Calendly link (shown by a calendar icon). The Mentee can then simply book a session without a back & forth messaging conversation. The Supporter meanwhile will be made aware of the booking, plus be send an update on the Mentee's progress report.
Supporters do not have to provide a Calendly link, the option is there to simply make their lives easier if they prefer.
