Kandu is a software startup that builds private online networks for organisations, to help their Mentees (such as entrepreneurs or future leaders) and 'Supporters' (such as mentors, coaches and advisors) to browse and connect with each other more easily, for support and knowledge exchange.
We make suggested 'matches' between Mentees and Supporters, based on offered and required experience and skills, to help Mentees find at least one person who can help them to develop their business idea or business. This is rather like business dating - we suggest people that you can help/ could help you, but we leave it to you both to connect to explore a potential relationship.
Our true value lies however in that we then also help the eventual Supporter/ Mentee partnerships that come from these matches (or Teams if a Mentee like enough of their suggested matches) to work together to track and support Mentee's progress against leadership and/or business growth goals, on Mentee's Progress Pages.
In this way Kandu harnesses mentoring/ support strategy to learning and development to keep everyone focused or a Mentee's priority Goals.
After this, Mentees are encouraged and helped to complete a few Tasks every few weeks (which are related to Goals set either by their organisation and/ or set by themselves), and then to meet and discuss their progress with a Supporter or individual Supporters on their Supporter Team.
This helps Mentees stay focused and motivated, but also supported by dedicated people. Being a future leader or an entrepreneur is tough and often quite lonely, so having people around Mentees such as mentors and coaches can help them succeed.
Supporters are helped to easily understand what the Mentee is trying to achieve, by having easy access to the Mentee's Progress Page. We also provide other Supporter benefits such as prompting Mentees to take responsibility for booking regular mentoring or coaching sessions.
